Now, I won't claim that "design is my passion" because, let's be real, that sounds a tad too cliché (you won't catch me on a fixed-gear bike any time soon). Despite the absence of a mustache, beanie, and trendy brand colors, I assure you, I'm no poser.
Since my student years, my journey has taken me through the realms of small branding agencies, web design firms, in-house teams, and technology companies, not to mention the array of freelance projects I've tackled along the way. I like to consider myself a jack-of-all-trades and master of a few, maybe it's my personality or perhaps my ever-present imposter syndrome pushing me to constantly elevate my craft and explore new design disciplines.
These days, I’m focusing on a mix of branding, UX/UI design, and pro bono work for LGBTQ+ communities across Europe. I’ve also had the chance to dive deep into digital product design, where I’ve been able to blend my love for branding with the complexity of technology, creating products that not only look great but function beautifully in the hands of real users. It's been about finding that balance where design meets purpose, and where creativity and technology come together to solve real-world problems.
To me, design is more than just how things look, design is about getting to the heart of what something is trying to say. I’ve never been one to shy away from complexity because I think that’s where the most meaningful answers come from. There’s always something deeper beneath the surface, and when you take the time to explore it, you find those sweet spots where design can really make a difference. For me, it's about bringing all of that to life in a way that feels genuine, something that people can connect with and love, not just because it works but because it speaks to them.
I love creating work that has personality, something that feels alive, that people want to engage with, and that feels real. Every element needs to come together in a way that’s thoughtful and intentional, and I love the challenge of figuring that out.
Beyond the pixels and wireframes, catch me doodling design ideas on napkins or obsessing over the elusive perfect color palette. To me, great design is more than aesthetics; it's about forging connections and ensuring digital journeys are genuinely enjoyable. When I'm not immersed in the design world, you'll find me baking, hanging out with Orchid, Cindy (yes, I name all of my orchids!) and my puppy Donut, or on the perpetual quest for the next season of Real Housewives franchise huahahaha
